Winemaking – Luis Seabra, Quinta de Adorigo

• Set high above the Douro River in a UNESCO-designated heritage site, Quinta de Adorigo is home to both old and young vines of traditional Port grape varieties. Here, Luis Seabra — one of Portugal’s most respected winemakers — crafts small-lot red wines that capture the essence of the Douro’s terroir. For nearly two decades, he has led a cultural shift in Portuguese winemaking, reclaiming historical vineyards and proving that refined, elegant, and expressive still wines can thrive in this legendary region.

How to Arrive:

• Fly into Porto Airport (OPO) for the most direct access to the Douro Valley.
• Alternatively, guests may arrive via Lisbon Airport (LIS) and either rent a car or arrange transfers (not included in trip cost) for the scenic 3.5-hour drive to the Douro.
