• 10:00 am- 12:00 pm: Morning Horse Selection at Palazzo Comunale

Witness the awe-inspiring moment when approximately 30 approved racehorses are brought into the Piazza del Campo. Ten contrade will participate, including the seven not running in the previous Palio and three drawn by lot. Experience the thrill as the horses are assigned to each contrada in a dramatic lottery ceremony, a moment charged with hope, strategy, and emotion. Tears, joy, and celebration unfold as contradaioli react to the assignment, creating a truly authentic Sienese experience.

• 12:30 pm-2:00 pm: Private Lunch in the Suite

• 2:00 pm-3:30 pm: Afternoon First Prova (Trial Race) 

From our Private Suite overlooking the Piazza, enjoy prime views of the first of six trial races. This is when jockeys begin to familiarize themselves with their mounts on the meticulously prepared dirt track. Each turn of the track carries tension and anticipation, and from your elevated vantage, you will witness every strategy, sprint, and near-miss.
